All praise belongs to Allah, who choose the moon for fixing the months and years, and peace, mercy and blessings be upon our beloved prophet.
Crescent Magazine was founded by Shaikh Ahmad Abu Marwan (resident: al-Makkah, origin: Nigeria) and Arshan Umer Ansari (resident: al-Khobar, origin: India). The responsibility of design is now taken by Abu Babga Mohammad Faraz (resident: al-Jeddah, origin: India) and the content editor remains Arshan Umer.
Initially, Sheikh Ahmad, the Imam of Crescent1 Masjid (Cyberjaya) came up with the idea of a monthly Islamic magazine. I was hesitant fearing that people nowadays are very lazy to “read”. I personally know friends who prefer making Apple’s “Siri” read for even short Facebook posts. We do not praise anyone excessively, but however, I thank him justly for his continuous encouragement that this magazine has been published. The first publish was on 1st Dhul Hijjah, 1436 (corresponding to 15th September, 2015). I also thank everyone who contributed in whatever way possible in sharing the articles from the web, printing, publishing and distributing this magazine in print and online. May Allah grant them highest level in Jannah!

We publish, by the Grace of Allah ﷻ, an Islamic magazine monthly! Our goal is to simplify things for the youth.
