Guidelines For An Easy Marriage – Shaikh Badʿi uz-Zaman al-Madani

Guidelines For An Easy Marriage – Badʿi uz-Zaman al-Madani
It is Allah, the Most Noble and the Most Wise who:
Prohibited adultery, and sanctioned punishments for it in this world and hereafter
And it is He who:

Encouraged marriage, and in some cases obligated it, and rewards us for it.
What’s the difference between the two? Is there any reason behind it?
A friend said: "Why is marriage necessary? Why can't we have relations with a girl without marrying her? Does marriage really make any difference?"
This question can only by asked someone from this generation due to the effect of Hollywood movies which constantly 'advertise' fornication and adultery in our minds without us knowing it. May Allah keep us safe from such trials.
However, we get into contract agreements every other day (be it business, trade, job, etc.). One of the benefits of marriage is that no doubt that it is a contract agreement. So, does not a contract agreement benefits us in the following ways:
1. Promotes harmony, as it prevents disputes.
2. Seals the deal.
3. Creates group recognition and legitimacy (due to the wali and witnesses).
4. Gives you a clear chance to put your terms and conditions.
5. It's a reference at times of problems.
6. Leads to a well thought out plan.
7. Encourages consistency.
There is much more apart from this. And of course, the pleasure of Allah is the top-most. Isn't it enough that we act in accordance to the commands of Allah as he is our creator, our Sustainer and soon our Resurrector?
We hope that this opens our hearts to act in accordance to the ahkaam (rulings) of Allah.
